HanesBrands announced today that it is donating another trailer load of underwear and socks for distribution to East Coast victims of Hurricane and Superstorm Sandy.
"There is still a great need for basic apparel such as underwear, socks and fleece sweatshirts for victims dealing with the aftermath of such a devastating storm," said Chris Fox, the company's vice president of corporate social responsibility. "Communities can't recover from such a natural disaster overnight, and we are dedicated to doing our part to assist disaster relief agencies and charitable organizations help the victims get back on their feet."
