The biggest game of the year, Super Bowl XLVII, happened this past weekend. Not only is the Super Bowl one of the largest sporting events in the country, it's also one of the most expensive and elaborate advertising opportunities for brands to get in front of over 100 million viewers.
On the day before the game, Scott Simon, host of NPR's Weekend Edition, spoke with with Howard Bryant of ESPN.com and ESPN The Magazine about how the Super Bowl has become more about the TV ads than the actual game.
