A.T. Cross to Purchase Sheaffer Pen Unit from BIC

The Providence Journal reported this afternoon that A.T. Cross has paid $15 million for the Sheaffer pen brand, purchasing the unit from BIC. The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of October 2014.

The article notes that A.T. Cross sold its Cross Accessory Division in 2013 to Clarion Capital Partners for $60 million.
