Crystal D Honors 37 Employees at 13th Annual Wow Day Recognition Event

Crystal D, St. Paul, Minn., a supplier of crystal awards and promotional gifts, gathered its employees together for the 13th annual WOW Day event on Feb. 6.

WOW Day was designed to recognize the hard work and dedication of Crystal D employees throughout the year. During the event, new "Value Champions" were announced. Value Champions are nominated by their peers, with final selections made by the management team. Each Value Champion embodies one of Crystal D’s five core values: integrity, commitment, respect, quality and passion. The Grand Value Champion is the epitome of all five of these values.

The 2014 Crystal D Value Champions are:

• Grand Value Champion: Ann Kirch
• Integrity Value Champion: Kim Kiefat
• Commitment Value Champion: Paula Doll
• Respect Value Champion: Brenda Peralta
• Quality Value Champion: Todd Zimmermann
• Passion Value Champion: Sandy Nichols

In addition to the Value Champion awards, 10 other awards were distributed during WOW Day, including the President’s Award, given to Mike "Zito" Vitali. The President’s Award is selected by Crystal D president Chuck Dahlgren, and is awarded to an individual whose contributions have impacted the company’s past and future in a significant manner. Vitali is just the third winner of the President’s Award, as it is not awarded every year. Past winners include John Nelson and Sharon Lezer.
