The Consumer Product Safety Commission, along with Gena Accessories Inc., New York, recalled silk scarves.
Gena Accessories' silk scarves failed to meet the federal flammability standard, posing a burn hazard, according to the recall notice. About 9,400 scarves were recalled from specialty accessory boutiques in New York City, and online at amazon.com, genaaccessories.com and scarfand.com from January 2007 to February 2015 for $12. No injuries have been reported.
