I'm terrible at keeping New Year's Resolutions. Whether I'm trying to give up late-night snacking (unlikely: popcorn and Netflix go hand in hand) or eat more vegetables (slightly less unlikely: after all, you can put butter on broccoli), I can never follow through in the end.
My most easily broken resolution? That I will finally get back in shape. After all, who wants to venture out into icy January weather to go for a jog or visit the gym? As another New Year's Eve approaches, I'm wondering if my abandoned resolutions are due to a lack of willpower or choosing the wrong time to get started on my new self.
