In high school, I was on the most feared and respected team in the district. "The Black Knights," they called us, and we were renowned for our unorthodox tactics and deep knowledge of the game. When we won regionals, the school held a pep rally for us where we were presented with our varsity jackets to thunderous applause. To this day, you haven't seen a more impressive chess team.

I guess some schools play games other than chess, weird as that may sound. Still, so as no to exclude people playing other sports, here's some promotional team apparel picked from our product search engine. With their moisture-wicking properties and flexible construction, they're perfect for chess, but would probably work for other sports too.

A New Jersey
With its three-quarter raglan sleeves and contrasting colors, the baseball jersey is an iconic sports style. The Augusta Sportswear Baseball Jersey, available from Imprints Wholesale, keeps the tradition alive in this 4.8 oz., 50/50 cotton/polyester jersey. The shirt includes double-needle stitching on the hemmed sleeves and a serged fishtail bottom.

Wicks You Were Here
The mix of mesh and moisture-wicking properties make the Rawlings Moisture-wicking Flatback Mesh Crew Neck from Sierra Pacific Apparel the perfect workout wear. Equally at place in the gym or on the go, the 100 percent polyster T-shirt has contrasting inserts and back, and comes in seven colors.

Champions Aren't Made, They're Outfitted
Being a champion starts with having a championship jacket. Or maybe it's the other way around. It doesn't matter, what's important is that the Championship Jacket from Charles River Apparel is a guaranteed win. The wind- and water-resistant jacket is designed with comfort and useability in mind. It's available in men's, ladies' and children's sizes, and can be paired with matching pants.
