Grossman Marketing Group, a 103-year-old, fourth-generation family-run print and promotional products company located in Somerville, Mass., announced the acquisition of ASAP Inc., a Norwalk, Conn. firm specializing in promotional products for a wide variety of businesses in the financial services, legal, education and consumer products sectors. The company will now be known as ASAP, a division of Grossman Marketing Group.

This acquisition expands Grossman Marketing Group's presence in Connecticut and New York, adding to their already existing office in Hartford, established in the mid-1970s.

We believe that good people make good business and attract good customers, a philosophy that has contributed to our sustained growth over the past century, and we're pleased to add ASAP's employees to our staff," said Ben Grossman, co-president of Grossman Marketing Group. "By leveraging Grossman Marketing Group's national brand expertise, award-winning design capabilities and customized marketing solutions, we can offer ASAP's client base an expanded suite of services and a history of long-term customer relationships, making for a smooth business transition."

New clients joining the Grossman Marketing family include Diageo, Reed Exhibitions, PepsiCo, University of Maryland, Norwalk Hospital, Elizabeth Arden and a variety of businesses across the country.

ASAP Inc. has been a source of pride for both me and my team over the past 25 years," said Sally de Vengoechea, former owner of ASAP. "When I decided to explore retirement options and considered selling ASAP, I was fortunate to find a company whose values and business practices were both compatible with ours and very well-respected in the industry. Grossman Marketing Group epitomizes loyalty and stability to both their clients and employees, and I could not be more pleased with my decision to place ASAP Inc. in their hands." De Vengoechea will continue on staff in an advisory capacity. In 2011, ASAP Inc.'s revenues totaled over $2 million.

Customer satisfaction is our first priority at Grossman Marketing, and we look forward to working with ASAP's staff to provide the products and solutions that will grow their customers' businesses and meet their business targets," Grossman said.
