Shumsky Parent Company Acquires Impact Plus

Boost Engagement, parent company of Shumsky, Dayton, Ohio, announced today it has acquired uniform and apparel distributor Impact Plus, Charlotte, N.C.

"This acquisition comes at an exciting time for our company," Dawn Conway, CEO of Boost Engagement, said in a press release. "After a record year in 2017, we continue to look for opportunities to serve our growing customer base and expand our market reach. We are confident this merger will strengthen our position in the market while providing Impact's accounts with increased value in areas such as product safety, flexible e-commerce and expertise in custom product development."

The merge is effective immediately, and will include all of Impact Plus's service and support for existing customers. Additionally, Impact Plus's Sergio Serrano will join Boost Engagement as national account executive, supporting the Southeast U.S. region.
