Water, Napping & Nail Art: How to get over election season 2012

No matter how you feel about last night's results, I think we can all appreciate a breather from politics. The revenue you received from your political programs is already in the bank, so focusing on less tense promotions should be your reward. Here are three ways to move on from election season and have fun with program planning.

1. Water is Life
Diane von Furstenberg has designed a limited-edition water bottle for Evian, complete with DVF's heart logo. The wrap-dress queen used her own penmanship to cover the bottle with the words "water is life is love is life is water..." Use this idea for your next charity run or corporate gift campaign. A message in the handwriting of your client will add something extra to an already special gift.

2. Stay Calm and Nap at Work
Mashable reports that a Parisian artist has created a "power-nap microspace" for the office. The CalmSpace helps workers sleep for 10, 15 or 20 minutes and then get back to work with more energy. It is not available for the promotional market yet, but I feel like it should be. The large "calm" logo in itself makes me want to take a nap.

3. Nail Art Jumpstart
I know I said I'd stay away from politics in this blog, but Fashionista calls these nail designs "poli-tips" so I think it is fair. Nail art has gone mainstream recently so logo'd nails are obviously the next step. Look out for me in Vegas: I'll be the one with the PM logo on my pointers.
