St. Regis Crystal, Cheektowaga, N.Y., announced the appointment of Steve Smidt to the position of vice president of sales and marketing. While his mandate is to drive sales across the entire U.S. market, his focus will be on the West Coast.

On April 20, 2010, Cheektowaga, New York-based supplier St. Regis Crystal announced the acquisition of Waxahachie, Texas-based supplier The Martin Company.
