Sheriff Mike Jolley of Georgia's Harris County caused a national stir last week when he posted a sign outside his department that reads: “WARNING: Harris County is politically incorrect. We say: Merry Christmas, God Bless America and In God We Trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you … LEAVE!”
Jolley, who paid for the $533 sign, said, “It’s time for the silent majority to stand up for our beliefs and not be ashamed.”
The photo of Jolley's sign has since gone viral on social media, garnering criticism and support alike. Defenders of Jolly's sign can now purchase a T-shirt bearing the same message.
