In 1999, Ross Silverstein and his wife, Amy, were expecting their fourth child. They already had children ages 7, 5 and 2. At the time, Ross held a senior position at RE/MAX and had a bright future at a growing company.
Despite all of this, Ross quit his job to start a new company in an industry in which he had no experience and little knowledge. That industry was the $20-billion promotional products industry and it intrigued him.
