Jon Hamm is a two-time Golden Globe winner and a six-time nominee. You’d think by now the Hollywood Foreign Press would know how to spell his name, right?
And yet, while catching up with Vanity Fair’s executive West Coast editor Krista Smith at the Sundance Film Festival, where he’s a juror this year, Hamm said that when his Golden Globe statue arrived in the mail, the name was spelled wrong. “Guys, there’s no H,” he pleaded, thinking maybe it’s not too late for a new nameplate to set things right.
