2020 Inc. 5000: What Promotional Products Companies Made the List

Each year, we dig through the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. to see which promotional products companies made the list. We're always impressed by the showing, and it's a good litmus test to see what's working in the industry. You can see where tech and direct mail are growing in importance, or what's working for companies that specialize in event displays. It's also interesting seeing how many cannabis-related companies are making their way onto the list by focusing on packaging and promotional advertising for brands and dispensaries.

The in-depth nature of the list allows us to see stories about how the promo industry has adapted to the times, developing programs to appeal to younger audiences and using technology to their benefit.

"Our goal is to align the swag buying experience with younger, digital native buyers," Jeremy Parker, CEO of Swag.com, said in a press release after his company ranked No. 218. "We have done this by automating and simplifying the entire swag buying and management process, which includes providing companies an easy way to store swag and send in bulk to one address or to thousands of individual addresses at once."

This year was a good showing for Proforma, too, with 18 owners on the list.
