4C Promotional Products Wins Business Plan Competition
Chaney Cruze, owner of Nashville-based 4C Promotional Products, placed second in the Nashville Business Plan Competition on June 9. Cruze was awarded $10,000 in cash and prizes for her winning executive summary of her business plan during a ceremony at the Nashville Public Library.
“I entered because the first round prize was a chance to go through the FastTrac program,” said Cruze.
4C Promotional Products, which Cruze started with her husband Chip in 2004, provides imprinted promotional items, corporate gifts and logoed apparel to small businesses. The company specializes in helping businesses that serve homeowners find the best way to use promotional products to achieve their goals.
Cruze was one of dozens of small business owners who competed for $45,000 in cash and prizes in the Nashville Business Incubation Center-sponsored competition. “It’s a thrill to be one of the winners,” she said. “There were so many entrepreneurs with such good business ideas that making it to the top five feels like a real accomplishment.”
4C Promotional Products plans use its winnings to incorporate the business and expand marketing programs, as well as increase visibility and name recognition.
