Bankers Advertising Company Holds Gathering of the Stars Sales Meeting

Bankers Advertising Group held its 2017 sales meeting in Springfield, Mo.

Bankers Advertising Company, an Iowa City, Iowa-based distributor, recently gathered its sales partners and supplier representatives together for its 2017 Gathering of the Stars National Sales Meeting in Springfield, Mo.

Springfield is the birthplace of Route 66, which made a nice event theme for “The Road Ahead.” The meeting began with a reception and dinner for more than 75 Bankers representatives, guests, suppliers and employees who attend the annual event. Throughout the meeting, Bankers’ sales partners were recognized for numerous sales and career achievements.

"This year’s meeting was the perfect blend of new and experienced sales partners," said Erica Kelley-Gogel, CAS, vice president of sales for Bankers Advertising Company. "Our sales partners always come prepared to learn from each other and our supplier partners. They are engaged and interested in growing their business. The meeting was a mix of learning and fun.”

The event featured a variety of presentations that offered valuable insights on tools, products and trends to help partners grow their business. Twelve suppliers were invited to share information on their products and services in the popular speed sessions. Also, more than 25 suppliers showed the latest and most popular products on the market at the tradeshow.

Bankers’ annual awards banquet was at the top of the Hammons Tower, where everyone enjoyed the spectacular views of the city.

In addition, attendees enjoyed group tours of two local favorites: The Fantastic Caverns and Pythian Castle.

Closing day included an industry update and state of Bankers, followed by the forecast for the year ahead.

Bankers's 2018 Sales Meeting will be “Soaring to Success” at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, Ill.
