Admore Recognized at 'The Gallery of Superb Printing' Awards Dinner
Admore, Midlothian, Texas, is once again starting the competition season strong with six awards from “The Gallery of Superb Printing, the Detroit Club of Printing House Craftsmen,” presented April 14, 2015 at the Awards Dinner.
The Gallery of Superb Printing awards program is held each year to recognize deserving companies for their outstanding workmanship in the Printing Industry. Admore, a division of Ennis, is a leading manufacturer of both standard and custom folders, as well as other presentation products.
Honored for its achievements in printing, foil stamping, embossing, specialty coatings and die cutting, Admore won six awards, including an International Gold Award, presented to last year’s Gold winner, the pirate-themed 2013 Halloween promotion, “Treasures Untold.” That piece featured five foil colors registered to ink and sculptured embossing.
Admore also won multiple Gold awards for self-promotion projects, including “The Admore Line 2015 Sales Kit,” the 2014 Halloween-themed “Secret Agent Folder” and a co-op marketing folder “Play to Win” used by Proforma at its regional meetings. Paul Brancaleone, Admore’s production manager, was on hand to accept the awards.
Entries in The Gallery of Superb Printing are judged based upon the quality of the piece. They are evaluated on registration, ink coverage, color intensity, dot structure, binding quality and finishing, overall appearance, and difficulty. To receive an award, each printed piece must display an exemplary level of craftsmanship. Admore has been winning awards from The Gallery of Superb Printing for more than 30 years.
