AIA Promotes Two Leaders Within the Company

AIA Corporation, Neenah, Wis., announced two promotions within its corporate office. Stacey McConnell, MAS, has been promoted to senior manager of marketing strategy and execution. McConnell holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, has been in the promotional products industry for 20 years and will be celebrating her 15-year anniversary with AIA Corporation in January.

Her extensive list of accomplishments with the company include being an integral part of moving AIA to Wisconsin, leading the organization’s award-winning National Sales Summit and being a team member recipient of an ACE award through Ragan Communications Inc.

McConnell will be working closely with the new vice president of supplier relations and marketing, Greg Armstrong. Armstrong has been promoted from his position as director of field sales based in California.

In his nearly eight years with AIA Corporation, Armstrong has provided leadership to an expanding group of AIA Corporation affiliates. In his new role, Armstrong will provide leadership, direction and focus to AIA’s marketing vision, as well as strengthening AIA Corporation’s partnerships and programs across the MVP Supplier community.

In addition to eight years of field experience with AIA Corporation, Amrstrong spent seven years as a district manager with industry supplier Gemline, Lawrence, Mass., and spent time as director of supplier relations with Darien, Connecticut-based Alcone Marketing Group.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising, and was named a “PPAI Industry Rising Star” in 2012.
