American Ad Bag Earns QCA Accreditation
The Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), the promotional product industry's only independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping companies provide safe products, has granted QCA accreditation to American Ad Bag.
To achieve QCA accreditation, American Ad Bag, with facilities in Woodstock, Ill., and Glendale, Ariz., completed a rigorous self-assessment and submitted its headquarters and supply base to multiple third-party audits. The QCA Board then used a scorecard representing the performance of the company and its supply chain on the third-party audits as the foundation for granting accreditation. American Ad Bag, a leading supplier of non-woven bags, paper, plastic and vinyl bags, padfolios, and portfolios, brings the number of QCA-accredited suppliers to 29.
"The process to accreditation was a rigorous process that enhanced our dedication to providing safe quality products," Virginia Semrow, CEO of American Ad Bag noted. "It will now continue to provide knowledge and processes to ensure that the products we manufacture and import meet appropriate standards today and into the future. This commitment by American Ad Bag and the other suppliers who have received this notable achievement gives customers confidence that the products they are buying are safe and compliant. This benefits our entire industry."
Added Jeffrey P. Jacobs, executive director of QCA, "We are pleased to see American Ad Bag join the ranks of QCA-accredited suppliers. End-user clients are placing increasing pressure on the industry to assure them their brands are protected from the risk of non-compliant and unsafe products. As a point of market differentiation, American Ad Bag can now point to the independent, third-party QCA accreditation to prove they have the proper protocols and processes in place to detect and deter products that could damage those brands."
