American Solutions for Business Names VP of Business Development

William Johnson was recently named vice president of business development for American Solutions for Business (ASB), Glenwood, Minn. After joining the company in 2012, Johnson had been serving as the vice president of supply chain management. In this new role, he will oversee sales recruiting, retention, acquisitions and integrations within ASB, and will continue to serve on the senior leadership team.

Johnson holds a degree in management from Florida State University with an emphasis in information systems and operations. His background includes positions, such as the director of operations and vice president of purchasing for a wireless communications company, chief information officer for a business records company, and computer operations and software development for the U.S. space program in Florida. In addition, he has international business experience through his work in South America and the Caribbean.

"Growth within our sales force and with major clients is extremely important to our strategic goals," said ASB's executive vice president, Justin Zavadil. "Having Bill focus on these areas will definitely help us achieve those objectives."
