Another Baseball T-shirt Misprint
Another day, another baseball-related decorating error. Two weeks ago, the Colorado Rockies misspelled star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki's name on 15,000 fan-giveaway T-shirts. Last week, the New York Mets handed out a promotional souvenir emblazoned with the division-rival Philadelphia Phillies' logo. And now, according to The Daily Caller, a store outside of Chicago's Wrigley field was found selling a Los Angeles Dodgers T-shirt with Mike Trout's name and number on it.
The problem, of course, is that Trout doesn't play for the Dodgers. He plays for the other Los Angeles team, the Angels, based in nearby Anaheim. And he's one of the best players in the world—a three-time all-star, the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year, and a two-time MVP runner-up. He's one of Major League Baseball's household names, making what appears to be a minor decoration mix-up a bit more egregious.
The Daily Caller, which found the T-shirt, did not say if there was more than one shirt or it was an isolated misprint. But the news outlet noted that the shirt was on a sale rack, marked at $19.95.
