Asian Sourcing Link Ltd. (ASL), a Hong Kong-based provider of integrated supply chain solutions with promotional products for major brand-marketing companies and the retail industry, has unveiled the expansion of its global coverage by opening a new operation in North America.

At the same time, ASL has announced the appointment of Alan Patrick as regional sales director - Americas to head up the new operation. Patrick brings a wealth of global and local business expertise in the promotional product marketplace. He has been on all three sides of the industry table, as a Top 50 distributor, including spells at Cyrk and Leaderpromos.com, as a supplier with Trade Only and Mars' My M&Ms project, and also with several Fortune 100 FMCG companies like Mars Inc. and Ralston Purina.

"Initially our aim is to ramp up our on-the-ground support with existing global clients with a USA and Canadian presence. For these, as an important distributor partner, we develop and manage global promotional programs for local execution. At the same time, we will be reaching out to work with a select group of North American-based promotional product industry suppliers and the important local trade organizations to support ASL's efforts," he continued.
