AST Sportswear Adds New Vice President of Brand Development

AST Sportswear, Anaheim, Calif., announces that Nadir Zulfiqar, former vice president of sales for Direct Tees and national sales manager for Cotton Heritage, has joined AST Sportswear as its vice president of brand development.

Zulfiqar has an impressive and versatile background, from being a military veteran graduating from West Point Military Academy in 1986 to launching his career with Vanity Fair in 1993, where he worked as a global sourcing director until 2004.

“I was presented an opportunity to help cultivate the new Bayside line for 2018, and I knew it was an avenue I was excited to pursue," Nadir said of the company's recent growth and plans to expand its lines.
