Bodek and Rhodes Gear Up for Faster Delivery
Bodek and Rhodes, a leading wholesalers of imprintable activewear, recently announced new Skip Zone times in the areas near Harrisburg, Penn. and New York City. Many customers can now order from the company’s Philadelphia warehouse as late as 4 p.m. and still have their order packed and shipped for next-day delivery.
“We’re constantly working to find quicker, easier ways to get your goods to your door,” said Rich Weisbrod, vice president of operations. “With special arrangements with our shippers, we can now reach some areas farther away from our warehouses just as fast as ones right next door.”
Special programs arranged with UPS and other carriers aren’t the only things that allow Bodek and Rhodes faster turnaround. Said Weisbrod, “Each one of our five warehouses is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for order filling and inventory management. That, combined with a really knowledgeable staff, all comes together for a quick delivery and a 99.95 percent accuracy rate.”
According to Mary Ellen Pahlka, director of marketing communications, “Yes, we’re always striving for faster turnaround and better technology, but the bottom line is, we do that to make our customers’ lives easier.” Pahlka concluded, “Ordering later and still getting delivery the next day gives them the extra time they need to finalize a sale with their clients. And our order-accuracy rate shows them that when they order from us, they’ll get the right thing, right away. It’s worry-free business with Bodek and Rhodes.”
