Bristol ID Acquires Cards By Dart
Bristol ID Technologies, based in Lima, N.Y., a leading custom card manufacturer, announced it acquired Cards by Dart, a division of Senator Promotional Group USA Inc., Dallas, Texas.
“We are excited about the opportunities presented with this acquisition,” stated Bristol ID CEO Keith Yeates. “As demand for card products increases in the promotional products industry, we see Cards by Dart as a perfect fit to our growth model,” Yeates continued. “Our long-time experience in the card industry, ability to develop innovative solutions and passion for outstanding service are a nice complement to the excellent reputation Cards by Dart has established. In addition, recent capital investments will help us take our short production lead times to the promotional products industry.”
The acquisition of Cards by Dart provides Bristol ID Technologies access to a broader base of customers and much increased visibility in the promotional products market.
Current customers of Cards by Dart will have access to Bristol ID’s complete product line, including customized cards (teslin and PVC-based) and accessories. Customers will also have access to Bristol ID’s educational resources.
Founded in 1965 and headed by Jeff Kogutt, Cards by Dart imprints high-quality short run plastic cards via foil stamping, thermal printing, litho printing and screen printing. Cards by Dart, has been an operating business within Senator Promotional Group USA, Inc. a division of Senator GmbH & Co. KGaA, headquartered in Gross-Bieberau, Germany.
According to Jim Burrow, president and CEO of Senator Promotional Group USA, “This sale will allow us to focus on our core business strategies, the long-term synergies for both the Senator and Dart Business Accessories brands in concert with plans for strategic expansion. This sale is good for all parties involved.”
Bristol ID plans to consolidate all Dallas operations into its Lima, NY manufacturing facility by the end of August with no break in service. All of Senator Group USA’s independent sales representatives have been retained by the new management team for representation to the promotional products industry.
