Charles River Apparel, Sharon, Mass., announced it has selected Boston-based 360 Public Relations as public relations and social media agency of record to promote the company's performance apparel for men, women and children. A third-generation family-owned and operated business, Charles River Apparel is looking to expand into new markets for its line of outerwear and other performance apparel.
"We've experienced strong growth, especially in the past two years, and have plans to further accelerate our growth with new product innovation and distribution across a variety of channels," said Barry Lipsett, president of Charles River Apparel. Under Lipsett's leadership, Charles River Apparel has grown to over 80 employees, with a 100,000 sq. ft. design and distribution facility in Sharon. Lipsett said the company houses more than a million garments in its facility, all available to ship within 24 hours. The product mix includes polos, jackets, fleece, rainwear and performance activewear.
