Check Out the Branded Kit 'Jeopardy!' Contestants (and Fans) Receive

One "Jeopardy!" fan was surprised to receive a branded gift set celebrating the upcoming "Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions" that's usually reserved for actual contestants.

That fan, known on Twitter as @OneEclecticMom, got the show's attention by critiquing each contestant's fashion choices, and revealed some of the branded gifts she received from the show.

It included a hat, socks, a can cooler, drinking glass, a menu of "TOCktails," a framed and autographed photo of new host Ken Jennings, balloons, a blanket and three cardboard cutouts of current "Tournament of Champions" winners.

She wasn't the only one who received it. Another former "Tournament of Champions" winner, Sam Kavanaugh, got his hands on the branded set, too.

According to The Sun, each contestant who competes on the Tournament of Champions also leaves with branded merchandise of their own, including a pint glass with "Who is [contestant's name]?" referencing the question-as-answer format of the show; and a cardboard cutout of their own face.

This is a fun way to engage contestants and fans alike, and make the fans feel like they're a part of the game even from home. It's also a great example of a kit that accomplishes something other than just brand awareness.

The blanket is awesome for cozy evening TV-watching, and the glass ties in with the cocktail menu, which end-users can either make on their own or with friends while they play the "Jeopardy!" card game.
