Club Colors Celebrates Earth Day with Month-Long Eco-Friendly Initiative
Club Colors, the provider specializing in the distribution of promotional products and branded apparel in Schaumburg, Ill., announced that it will donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of eco-friendly and sustainable products and apparel starting immediately and lasting through Earth Day 2012 on April 22. The donation will be made to a global conservation organization.
"We are excited to use Earth Day as an opportunity to educate our customers on eco-friendly and sustainable products that help conserve the environment," said Bob Stockard, CEO of Club Colors. "Our extensive environmentally-friendly catalog allows our customers to select custom products that help promote their commitment to corporate responsibility while still meeting their promotional needs."
According to the 2011 KPMG International study, "Corporate Sustainability: A Progress Report," the majority of U.S. companies have formal sustainability strategies in place or expect to have one in place over the next several years. Stockard noted that promotional products and branded apparel is one area that executives often overlook when developing their corporate social responsibility program.
Club Colors provides its corporate and collegiate customers the largest selection of promotional products and branded apparel made of eco-friendly, organic, recycled and sustainable materials, or manufactured using renewable energy sources. Its environmentally-friendly catalog includes organic cotton t-shirts, seeded paper products, reusable tote bags, energy saving technology gifts, and many more recyclable products.
