Branded LLC has announced the recall of its H-E-Buddy kaleidoscopes, according to the CPSC.
About 35,000 units were distributed exclusively at H-E-B and H-E-B Plus stores in Texas from April 1 to April 3 as a customer loyalty prize.
No injuries have been reported, but the CPSC says the item poses a laceration and choking hazard, as the item's end caps can be removed and expose small parts that could come loose.
The CPSC advised consumers to immediately stop using the item, take them away from children, and return them to an H-E-B store for a refund of purchase points, which can be used toward another item.
