Customer Focus Forms Technology Partnership with AIMastermind
Santa Ana, California-based Customer Focus, has agreed to a five-year agreement with Philadelphia-based AIMastermind (AIM), a buying group serving more than 1,000 promotional product resellers that represent more than $200 million in annual sales in North America.
Under the terms of the agreement, Customer Focus will provide each AIM member with an e-commerce website that uses the group’s proprietary technology. Customer Focus will receive a share of the gross margin on all orders that are processed through the platform.
The agreement is for an initial five-year term, with automatic renewal for another five years. Customer Focus directors expect the first customers to go live by October and expect the deal to enhance earnings launch.
"AIMastermind is one of the fastest growing … buying groups in the $22 billion personalized product industry within the USA," said Peter Hallett, non-executive chairman of Customer Focus' parent company, Altitude Group PLC. "This agreement further validates our decision to focus on sharing of revenue throughout. It gives [Customer Focus] access to 1,000 customers for an extremely low acquisition cost, and delivers our unique click-to-ship technology to them instantly.”
"We are delighted to offer this new solution to our members," said Jamie Coggeshall, president of AIM. "We have partnered with Customer Focus on their order management solutions for the last three years and are delighted to now be able to offer this superb new e-commerce website solution that will allow our members easy access to the fastest buying channel. AIMastermind members already enjoy incredible value for a low monthly fee, and they now get the best online shopping experience in the world for no extra charge.”
"Creating company stores for clients of any size was always expensive and time consuming," said Martin Varley, president and CEO of Customer Focus. "Now its free, and takes only two clicks for AIMastermind members."
