Dairy Queen and Hidden Valley Celebrate Partnership With Creative Promo Collection
A lot of us might hear “Dairy Queen and Hidden Valley Ranch are working on something together” and think that it’s going to be some kind of unholy hybrid frozen drink with ranch dressing in it. We like ranch as much as anyone, but that doesn’t sound super appealing.
It’s at this point that we remember that a lot of DQ locations do a lot more than just dessert, so we can all breathe a huge sigh of relief when we talk about this Hidden Valley/Dairy Queen promotional roll out. It would be a shame not to celebrate it, because they really went all-out.
We're celebrating the house-made flavor of @HVRanch with the House-Made Collection. Embrace your chicken strips and ranch love with these at-home activities available for purchase on 10/1 at 3 PM EST, while supplies last. https://t.co/zlIogyAGjb #HappyTastesGood pic.twitter.com/JUtS4QRPF6

Dairy Queen just introduced the addition of Hidden Valley Ranch to its chicken strips and salads. To spread the word, Dairy Queen dropped a line of branded merchandise that includes a cornhole board, a 1,000-piece puzzle, a paint-by-numbers kit and a cross-stitch kit.
While it’s not billed as such, the collection definitely appeals to people who are spending more time at home. Maybe they’ll take up cross-stitching for the first time! Maybe they’ll hone their cornhole skills in the backyard for competition season!
Much like the grilled and savory products at select Dairy Queen locations, these products are available for sale at participating locations across the U.S. as of Oct. 1. They're also all available online, but the cornhole boards sold out already.
Hidden Valley has a reputation around here for its creativity and promotional expertise. Every year, like clockwork, we write about the impressive holiday promotions, and they've done plenty of little things here and there to stand out among their condiment competition, too.
So, is anyone really surprised that they nailed this one?
