St. Croix Promotions and Retail, Bloomington, Minn., announced that Dan Livengood has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing. He will assume the position April 9, 2014.

Livengood comes to St. Croix with a 20-year promotional marketing and full-service agency background. As a seasoned market strategist and executive sales professional, Livengood's responsibilities will include helping to build, train and lead the organization's sales and marketing team.

In his career, Livengood has won numerous awards, including the coveted PPAI Pyramid and American Marketing Association NOVA Award. As a professional speaker and Advanced Toastmaster (ATM), he has been invited to lecture, emcee and entertain at various educational, municipal and corporate events. He has developed several shadowing and mentoring programs for students interested in advertising and marketing. Currently, he serves on the Government Relations Council for the Upper Midwest Association of Promotional Professionals (UMAPP), where he tirelessly works on behalf of the promotional products industry, keeping his ear tuned into current trends and political changes.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Upper Iowa University and holds several certifications in and outside the industry.
