Discovery Is Going All Out on Branded Shark Week Merch

It’s almost August, which means one thing: Shark Week! There are 11 days—and a few hours—until the kickoff, but who’s counting? (Hint: definitely us.) There’s just something fascinating about watching these terrifying, but magnificent fish every year, and we're ready for it. Discovery is also hosting a giveaway where eight winners will receive some wicked Shark Week branded merch.

The rules are pretty simple. According to the Discovery store website, there are two ways to enter. Participants can purchase Shark Week merchandise through the Discovery Channel’s store, with $10 spent is equivalent to one entry. Or, they can mail in a handwritten entry form.

As for the prizes, there’s a Yeti Shark Week cooler bag (our personal favorite), which is perfect for packing up and keeping beverages and snacks cool for a day at the beach and has the Shark Week logo and shark design. There’s also a Discovery Adventures outdoor wagon, a pair of Knockaround Shark Week 2020 sunglasses, a Shark Week hat and a Shark Week beverage holder that says, “I survived Shark Week.” All the items are listed and shown here.

The Shark Week giveaway closes on Aug. 16, and winners will be announced on Aug. 26, so there’s still plenty of time for shark fans to participate for a chance to win some cool branded merch. The Discovery store also has plenty of branded merch available for purchase, including sunglasses, sock sets, a “Great White Shark Week Logo” T-shirt (that fits the theme of Shark Week), bobbleheads, stickers and plenty of other options.
