Disney Has Some Cool New Dia De Los Muertos Merchandise at Epcot
Disney has been crushing it with heritage themes in movies lately, with instant classics like "Moana" and "Coco." So, it makes sense that the attention to detail it uses for its flicks would carry over into the merchandise at its theme parks.
I mean, they sell Coca-Cola bottles shaped like inter-galactic grenades for the sake of keeping the "Star Wars" theme. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, right?
But it's still worth celebrating the Dia de Los Muertos items Disney rolled out for its Mexico pavilion in Epcot this week.
Thanks to a full look from Attractions Magazine, we got to check out the full line. A lot of it plays on the repeated theme of mariachi music, with Mickey Mouse wearing a sombrero and playing a guitar.

That design appears on T-shirts, drinkware, tote bags and even a paper celebration banner inspired by the papel picado traditional Mexican craft.

Pretty great timing with the theme, too, considering it's the spookiest time of the year.
