Disney is no slouch when it comes to promotional marketing. It's hard to forget the immense number of "Star Wars"-related promotions, events and merchandise that we saw around the release of "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens."
Now, gearing up for "Finding Dory," the sequel to the much-beloved "Finding Nemo," Disney has announced a whale (or blue tang fish, if we're getting specific) of a promotional campaign for the upcoming film.
According to Deadline, Disney will team up with 13 brands—including Aussie, Band-Aid Brand, Coppertone and Kellogg's—for the promotional campaign. Some of the promotional campaigns include:
- Bounty will launch a licensed product campaign with movie ticket tie-ins.
- Kellogg's will use an animated TV spot, and in-store displays and packaging.
- Yoplait Go-Gurt will launch in-store promotions and packaging.
- Kraft will create a licensed product campaign for its macaroni and cheese products.
