Disney Uses '90s Nostalgia to Sell Notebooks
Many kids who grew up in the VHS age remember the huge (almost to the point of overkill) packaging that Disney movies came in. They opened like a book, and had white lining surrounding the cover photo.
To monetize some of that sweet, sweet '90s nostalgia that's all the rage these days, Disney is once again showing its genius by selling notebooks modeled after classic Disney home video packaging.
The outside has the familiar white packaging, and, inside, the first and last pages are replicas of the actual cassette tapes.
According to Attractions Magazine, the only available "movies" so far are "Aladdin," "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King."
The notebooks are available at Disney parks at various locations and on the Shop Disney Parks app for $14.99 each.
