Dri Duck Traders, based in Overland Park, Kan., has teamed up with online training authority Experticity to develop a virtual interactive training site using the 3point5.com platform. This site is designed specifically for the Dri Duck brand and is the first of its kind catered to the corporate identity channel. The training was created to educate sales professionals and customer service staff about the Dri Duck brand in a new and interesting way.
Dri Duck's online training is broken up into three easy to follow modules: Brand Profile, Rugged Essentials, and Technical Performance. Each module contains interactive readings, videos and at the end of each module an Edu-Game that tests training knowledge. Once all three Edu-Games have been passed, the user can access the Dri Duck online store where personal and show room samples can be purchased at up to 70% off of retail pricing.
3point5 is commonly used in big box retail locations where sales associates are encouraged to complete online training and become product experts on key brands. "We first learned of the 3point5 training tool from our major retailer partners and quickly saw the application in the corporate channel to actively engage and educate distributors on our brand and product offering," said Nicole Parker, director of sales and marketing for Dri Duck Traders. "Education is important to us. We want to ensure that everyone selling our product has sufficient product knowledge and a high level of comfort working with our apparel."
