Ennis Inc. Acquires Independent Printing Company Inc.

Ennis Inc., Midlothian, Texas, announced that it purchased Independent Printing Company Inc., DePere, Wis., and related entities in a stock purchase on Friday. Independent Printing Company Inc. produces presentation folders, checks, wide format products and commercial printing.

Going forward, the company will have four folder facilities in Michigan, Kansas, California and Wisconsin. It also will have wide format facilities in Colorado and Wisconsin.

"With this acquisition, we will continue to be the preeminent provider of all types of presentation folders in the marketplace. The addition of the wide format operation will add to the capabilities of our existing operations, which should help us to continue to penetrate the point of purchase and screen print marketplaces."

Independent Printing Company Inc. will continue to operate under the same name and all related entity names, and all of its locations will continue operations as normal.
