Ennis National Marketing Wins Inhouse Design Awards in Three Categories
Ennis Inc.'s national marketing department has recently received four awards, in three categories, from the GDUSA American Inhouse Design Awards, sponsored by The Creative Group and Endurance. This year there were more than 5,000 entries from every size and segment of the private, public and nonprofit sectors. The criteria for the GDUSA American Inhouse Design Awards are based on creativity, and recognize the contribution of in-house designers and marketing departments through the special challenges they face.
Two completely redesigned sales kits, “Uncompromised Check Solutions” and “Tag & Label,” were awarded in the Sales Promotion and Sales Kits category. Both kits include unique folders, samples and sales materials that make them stand apart from the competition. In the Identity Design category, the overall “Ennis Corporate Rebranding” got extra attention by showing up on the first page of this category section.
“Our corporate rebranding has been the staple of all of our marketing initiatives this past year,” Steven Osterloh, vice president of marketing, said.
Lastly, the creative spread “Pushing the Envelope,” which appeared in Print + Promo, won an advertisement award. This ad focused on unique tips for a distributor to use when trying to sell or cross-sell envelopes. “We are proud of all of the creative things we are able to produce as an internal marketing department, and being recognized for our design work in various categories proves that we are doing something right.” said Osterloh.
