Folder Express, Omaha, Neb., a division of Ennis Inc., has announced that it will relocate manufacturing operations to Columbus, Kan., by the end of 2015.
Folder Express’ current lease expires at the end of this year. The inability to renew the lease and find acceptable alternatives were factors in leaving Omaha. The company decided to relocate the operations to a company-owned facility in Kansas. Folder Express employees have been invited to relocate with the company; however, it is undetermined how many of the current workforce will make the move.
Folder Express, a producer of presentation folders and multi-media folders, serving a variety of vertical markets, will continue to produce and distribute its full line of products at the Kansas facility. Because the move is to a working printing facility, the transition should appear seamless to customers, with no adverse effects to quality or service.
Customers will see minimal if any change in day-to-day interactions with Folder Express. Contact information including phone, fax, email and website will not be changing.
