Fully Promoted Takes Center Stage With Line-Up of Industry Leaders at 2022 Convention
Fully Promoted, West Palm Beach, Florida, part of the United Franchise Group (UFG) affiliated family of brands, hosted its annual convention in Fort Worth, Texas, for 2022. The three-day event, themed "Branding We Grow," featured networking events, presentations, vendor roundtables, an award ceremony and educational opportunities.
"It was a fantastic way to discuss new marketing campaigns, sales growth and how to increase profitability in person once again," said Mike Brugger, president of Fully Promoted. "This year, it really felt like a family reunion—I'm so thankful to the over 100 owners and staff members who were able to attend and learn new ways to grow their businesses."
The convention featured three days of nonstop learning and fun, including a welcome reception, the goals and bright future of Fully Promoted, an owner town hall, a keynote presentation by UFG President A.J. Titus, and the awards gala. The annual awards gala celebrated the accomplishments of franchise owners, with top accolades given to:
- Hall of Fame—Jeff Mitchell and Dan Dubell, Bel Air, Maryland, and George Zacieracha, Morristown, New Jersey
- MVP—Garrick Jacobi, Boise, Idaho
- President's Award —Jeff and Dina Slain, Fishers, Indiana
- Humanitarian of the Year—Michelle Bottino, St. Charles, Illinois
- Rookie of The Year—Robert Steffek and Michelle Monhollen, Centerville, Ohio
- Mentor of the Year—Janet Domec, Houston (Cypress), Texas
- Most Improved Sales Performance—Rick Troncin, Altoona, Iowa, and Cierra Haffner, Sioux Falls, South Dakota
- Team Player—Todd Martinez, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Jeff Mitchell, Bel Air, Maryland
The highlight of the night was inducting the new honorees into the Fully Promoted Hall of Fame, which celebrates their long-term success, how they grew the brand and sales growth. Honorees are voted on by existing members of the Hall of Fame. Jeff Mitchell, Dan Dubel and George Zacieracha received this year's prestigious awards.
The Humanitarian Award recognizes franchisees who go above and beyond to serve others. Michelle Bottino won the Humanitarian Award for the second year in a row. "Michelle donates time and product with a smile and an open heart," said Brugger.
One exceptionally engaging moment was the town hall where Fully Promoted franchise owners shared best practices on how to increase business. Presentations included: Fully Promoted In-House Decorators, Community/Event Marketing, Online Stores, Referral Programs and Lead Generation.
New for 2022, popular vendor roundtables were hosted by 14 leading vendors and moderated by Tom Kronberger, Fully Promoted’s director of vendor relations. Vendors had the opportunity to share new trends, product enhancements and more. This has already resulted in increased sales for the featured products and highlighted categories.
Next year's Fully Promoted convention will be held in Chicago in July 2023.
