Geiger’s McGuire In First Mass Transit Interactive Webisode
Mass Transit Corp. announced it intends to video enable the promotional industry this year by bringing interactive video and social networking applications to suppliers, distributors and end-users. To kick off the project, Mass Transit choose to film an April employee appreciation event hosted by Geiger’s Jean McGuire of McGuirePro Marketing. “Jean put together a perfect event at a wonderful venue to shoot our premier webisode,” said Jeff Anderton, CEO of Mass Transit. The mini-documentary was shot live in Ft. DeSoto Beach, Fla. with a professional production team from Colorado.
“Jean’s event was an employee appreciation event at the beach. She brought in awesome promotional products that we could shoot in an awesome setting. Not only did we film the entire event from beginning to end, but we interviewed Jean as she walked us through how to put on a successful employee appreciation event,” said director Ben Hurst, from Fueld Films. “A key element was focusing on the actual promotional products that were used at the event. It was amazing how putting them in an actual setting brought these products to life. Once we add the interactive features this will make a great educational and selling tool for suppliers and distributors alike. This is going to be groundbreaking,” Hurst concluded.
Anderton added, “The concept behind the documentary was to capture a real promotional event as it happens. No one has ever tried to do this in such a professional way. These webisodes are going to make an invaluable tool for distributors to share to their clients and for suppliers to show their products in actual use with actual feedback.”
