Gildan Joins Social Media World, Now on Facebook and Twitter

Montreal-based Gildan announced its entry into the world of online social networks, with the launch of its first Facebook and Twitter sites.

The sites are meant to continue to build awareness and encourage more support for those charities registered as part of Gildan's recently launched "I Support" program, a charity awareness program. The program is designed to encourage people to tell their story about a charity they support and how they are making a genuine positive impact on the world. The program will culminate with a donation by Gildan of up to $100,000 to a registered charity later this year.
