Grand Prize Winner Announced in Sweda's 2010 Case Study Challenge
As part of its “Innovation” Case Study Challenge, Sweda Company, City of Industry, Calif., announced on Sept. 3 that the case study “Photo Frame Calc=Unlimited Marketing Options,” submitted by Julie R. Haar of Proforma Strategic Promotions, Columbus, Ohio, is this year’s Grand Prize Winner.
“I was thrilled to be among the six finalists. It’s an honor to be recognized by my peers and the industry for fulfilling my client's needs with an innovative and strategic solution,” said Haar. “This project was a great success for our client and being named the winner of this challenge is the icing on the cake,” she added.
With over 32 percent of the thousands of total votes received during the past two weeks, Haar will claim the winner’s check of $5,000, plus a $2,500 company credit memo to Proforma.
“At Proforma, we work to help position our owners as a 'creative' agency without the fees,” said Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma. “This award-winning work by Julie with the great team from Sweda is an excellent example of how distributors can partner with their suppliers and create value beyond price,” he added.
Sweda Company also wishes to congratulate the five finalists: “King County Library System Summer Reading Program,” by Nancy Waters, Image Source, Inc., Kirkland, Wash.; “Slap Watches at PPAI Leadership Conference,” by Teresa Moisant, Moisant Promotional Products, Oklahoma City, Okla; “Useful Gift For New Moms,” by Cathy Hammer, Q Business Source Inc., Billings, Mont.; “Getting In the Door,” by Brian Thatcher, Leaderpromos.com, Columbus, Ohio; and “The ‘Coolest’ Custom Cooler Bag,” by Candis Burdett, Clean Fun Promotional Marketing, Costa Mesa, Calif.
