Halo/Lee Wayne Names Supplier of the Year
Sterling, Illinois-based HALO/Lee Wayne presented its 2008 Supplier of the Year award and 2008 Supplier Representative of the Year award at the company’s Preferred Supplier Reception held at the Mix Lounge atop Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay.
More than 400 HALO/Lee Wayne account executives and preferred suppliers witnessed McFarland, Wisconsin-based Seville receive the 2008 Supplier of the Year award based on a vote by the company’s account executives and home office staff. More than 50 preferred suppliers qualified for the vote based on exceptional service, high profitability and creative sales promotion efforts. According to Terry McGuire, Halo/Lee Wayne senior vice president of marketing, “We experienced our third year of over 50% increase with Seville. They’re aggressive marketers with quality products and exceptional service.”
Seville’s vice president of sales Dan Gabel was also recognized as 2008 Supplier Representative of the Year. Julie Harms, Halo/Lee Wayne supplier relations administrator, presented the award to Gabel stating, “Dan’s strive for success and passion for HALO/Lee Wayne has proven results ... He works hard at offering exclusive promotions for our sales team, participating in our end-user shows, and constantly supporting our staff and account executives throughout the year.”
Gabel commented, “We are humbled to be recognized as supplier and sales representative of the year. To be recognized by such a professional and hardworking distributor in the industry is truly an honor. It would not have been possible without our support team.”
