Hanesbrands Pledges Continued Support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Hanesbrands Inc., Winston-Salem, N.C., is continuing to help in the fight against breast cancer by partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to generate awareness and support of breast cancer research.
The company's Hanes, Playtex, Maidenform and Bali intimate apparel brands have joined forces to pledge $100,000 to BCRF, regardless of sales. Over the past seven years, Hanesbrands Inc. has donated more than $1.5 million to support breast cancer awareness. Additionally, key styles from the brands' collections are available in a range of pink colors and feature special pink packaging supporting the message, "Keep Pink Close to the Heart."
"With 1 in 8 women diagnosed annually with breast cancer, our ongoing partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a top priority for the company," said Sidney Falken, chief branding officer of Hanesbrands Inc. "This year, we have combined forces across our intimates' brands with the mission of driving awareness to this important cause that affects so many women and their families every day. Investing in research produces results."
