Headwear USA Hires Scott Wood
Frederick, Maryland-based Headwear USA announced it has hired Scott Wood as vice president of sales and marketing. In this position, he will work closely with Tony Karlicek, CEO, and James Dunn, sales manager, to strengthen Headwear USA’s relationships with its current clients and grow new relationships in the industry.
Wood has more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently as the national sales manager, sport products division, of Oceanside, New York-based MAC Specialties. He also spent 14 years as vice president of sales and marketing for Wheeling, Illinois-based Time Products International.
“In these changing times, we are making stronger efforts to learn the needs of our individual customers so that we can work with them to directly to address their specific markets,” said Karlicek. “We know Scott’s knowledge and experience will play a huge role in our effort to become a valuable partner with our clients and not just another supplier.”
