The health care market has been through the ringer over the past year. Some hospitals have been busier than ever as they contend with COVID surges, yet, in a cruel paradox, they’re facing revenue shortfalls as non-COVID procedures stay paused. Assisted living facilities, primary care doctors, dental offices—all have had to learn and adapt as they balance staff and patient safety with business and operational needs.
Distributors have had to adapt, too, as they look to keep providing health care customers with the best and most critical print and promotional products. And while masks are still selling, it's good to have some other products up your sleeve to open up other sales opportunities.
Here are a few of the top non-mask options for this market.
1. Vaccine Intake Forms by Wilmer
Available in two versions—COVID-specific or general vaccination—these intake forms are designed to help health care offices screen patients, gather information and more. Stock, imprint or custom options and small quantities or large runs are available.
2. Billboard Tote by Southern Plus
Health care providers have a big job—and they need promotional products to match. This tote fits the bill with its 10x8" imprint area, large size and sturdy 80 gm non-woven poly construction. The tote comes in eight colors with a one-color, one-location imprint.
3. Tekbook With 0.5 fl. oz. Instant Hand Sanitizer Gel Pack by Tekweld
This fully customized booklet includes an imprint on both sides of the folding card and a hand sanitizer gel pack, with options for adding coupons, QR codes and other calls to action. Multiple insert options (including credit card hand sanitizer, dental floss and more) and single or double fold booklets are available.
4. Koozie Savannah Vacuum Tumbler by Koozie Group (formerly BIC Graphic)
This 16 oz. double-wall tumbler keeps drinks hot for seven hours or cold for 16 hours, making it an ideal companion for long shifts, overnights or both. It comes in four colors and has a screw-on, leak-proof lid with slider opening. The lid disassembles for easy cleaning.
5. Stock COVID-19 Vaccination Stickers by Discount Labels
“I Voted” stickers are so 2020—the must-have accessory of 2021 is the COVID-19 vaccination sticker. These stock versions come in multiple styles and on rolls of 100. Samples are available upon request.
6. Back to the Office PPE Kit by SnugZ USA
OK, we're sort of cheating on our "non-mask" rule, but health care providers need a lot of items for office staff to keep working safely. This kit includes all the essentials: two hand sanitizers, a two-ply face mask, a zinc alloy hand tool and a drawstring bag. The mask and bag feature dye-sublimation decoration.
7. Mount Sheets by Hospital Forms & Systems
Used in various health care facilities, these 8.5x11" cut sheet forms are designed to collect and organize patient information, including telemetry results, EKG data, chemistry analysis, therapy records, prescription information and more. The sheets feature numerous custom options for copy, ink color, paper color/weight, index tab width and much more. Various adhesive tape options are also available.
8. Disposable Lab Coat by FPS Apparel
Isolation gowns are a necessity for frontline health workers, but don’t forget about the equally critical folks behind the scenes. This disposable lab coat features five snaps at the front, comes in blue or white and has multiple pockets. It is available in sizes M or XL and is not intended for use in surgical settings or in clinical settings requiring Level 3 protection or above.
9. Parkland Tag Lunch Cooler by Leed's
The only thing worse than a 12-hour shift is a warm, soggy salad in the break room. Keep those greens (and everything else) fresh with this lunch bag. It has an insulated interior and is large enough to fit most bento box lunch containers. It has a 2x5" imprint area on the front pocket.
