Image Source Holds 11th Fall Showcase
Image Source's 11th Annual Fall Showcase brought together more than 300 end-buyer attendees with 27 suppliers for an afternoon of the latest promotional merchandise trends, holiday gift giving ideas and a whole lot of fun. Held at the Bellevue Hyatt, this year's event was themed "This One Goes To 11"-a reference to the 11th annual event and subtle nod to the cult classic Spinal Tap.
In addition to a traditional booth exhibition with more suppliers than ever before, the Showcase featured a Holiday Idea Pavilion filled with unique ideas for holiday gifts, awards and team recognition. Reps from Maui Jim Sunglasses were on site to do custom fittings in the latest sunglasses fashions-and participants received a 70 percent off coupon for their next purchase.
A DJ set a festive mood, and hors d'oeuvres and open bar kept attendees satisfied during the afternoon. But the highlight of the Showcase was the two live fashion shows, which were kicked off by "the second most interesting man in the world"-followed by Image Source clients walking the runway modeling the latest trends in corporate apparel and accessories.
Once again, this don't-miss event was a hit with buyers. "The Image Source Fall Showcase is our go-to event for the latest branded merchandise ideas and to connect with the vendors behind the Image Source brand," said Julie Brand, community relations and marketing director for King County Library System. "We always walk away with a list of the new items we will be purchasing in the coming year!"
Buyers weren't the only ones pleased with the event; suppliers also gave it high marks. "The Image Source Fall Showcase was an immediate success because the atmosphere, the organization and the format made for relaxed and refreshed clients anxious to find gifts from the best suppliers in the industry," said Joel Freet, national sales manager - corporate for Cutter & Buck. "Every touch point was thought through, and the Image Source Team really knows how to make its showcase the event of the season."
